The 51 greatest Ryder Cup photos of all time

The Ryder Cup is a one-of-a-kind golf event that brings some of the world's best golfers together for a week of friendly competition, which makes it ripe for compelling photographs. There are trans-Atlantic bragging rights, champagne showers and a historic trophy at stake.

We went through thousands of historical photos from the Ryder Cup to find our favorites.
