Team Europe just defended its home turf and won the 42nd Ryder Cup, 17-1/2 to 10-1/2 at Le Golf National.

Francesco Molinari defeated Phil Mickelson 4 & 2 for the official winning. point. Europe extended its dominance of the Ryder Cup, winning for the ninth time in the last 12 matches and remained perfect at home since 1997.
