Russell Henley Cracks Top 6 of U.S. Rankings with Victory at Arnold Palmer Invitational
Russell Henley is making a case to be a part of his first United States Ryder Cup Team when the Red, White & Blue head to Bethpage Black in September.
Henley went head-to-head with two-time U.S. Ryder Cup Team Member Collin Morikawa in the final round of the Arnold Palmer Inviational at Bay Hill and came away victorious to earn 4,000 U.S. Ryder Cup points and move into fourth with 7,808.45 points total.

Morikawa's runner-up finish moved him up to No. 3 (7,380.85), behind Scottie Scheffler (11,401) and Xander Schauffele (9,796.46). Bryson DeChambeau (6,993) and Maverick McNealy (3,990.49) round out the Top 6.
The top six eligible players from the U.S. Ryder Cup Points list following the BMW Championship on August 17, 2025, will make the team, while Captain Keegan Bradley will have six Captain's picks to round things.
Bradley, who has expressed his desire to make the team, put together the best round of the final day at Bay Hill. Bradley's 8-under, 64, catapulted him to fourth on the leaderboard and accumulated him 800 U.S. Ryder Cup points. The Captain was the biggest mover on the U.S. board this week, jumping 14 spots from 29th to 15th.
"I hope it's not a tough decision," Bradley said about making the U.S. Ryder Cup Team during the API. "I hope I'm either on the team or it's not a decision. Like I said, if I am in the top 6 I'll play. If not, I owe it to the guys to be a captain, although I have some great vice captains that could help that."
