U.S. up in three
Rose misses, Spieth does not and the visitors are 1 UP in match three.

There's a bit of U.S. noise out there too - this feels like a proper Ryder Cup Saturday now.
Burns is trying to get something going
He makes a third birdie of the day after an approach to three feet to put the U.S. 3 UP in the top match and then gives the European crowds the cupped ear.

A chorus of boos rain down but Burns looks to be loving it - where has that been so far this week from the Americans?
Good vibes for the U.S.
Spieth stiffs one at the fourth.

Rose will also have a good look at birdie but in every match at the minute it seems the Americans are putting them close and having birdie putts.

Nothing is dropping for Europe so far this afternoon.
Early wobbles from Europe
Everyone misses the green at the driveable par-four fifth.

Åberg misses from six feet for an up-and-down birdie but Burns makes no mistake from half the distance and the U.S. go 2 UP.
Clutch from Homa
Wow! With Højgaard in close at the par-three fourth, it looked like Europe had the advantage, but instead Homa holed from nearly 40 feet, meaning the Dane had to make his seven-footer to tie the hole but he wasn't able to, putting the U.S. 2 UP in match two.
Europe get away with one
After both McIlroy and Fitzpatrick missed the fairway and couldn't find the green in two, the U.S. pair looked set to win the first hole in match four. But with Cantlay unable to hole his birdie putt, Europe escape with a tie.
Here comes Hovland
Just when Europe needed someone to step up in match one, Hovland did exactly that. He sent his tee-shot to within five feet at the short fourth before tapping in the putt to win a hole back for his side. They trail by one now.
U.S. go 2 UP in top match
A par from Burns is enough to win the third hole in match one. The U.S. pair now lead by two holes as they seek to get some much-needed red on the board.
