MacIntyre means business
MacIntyre has just nervelessly holed from 15 feet for a birdie at the first to guarantee no early damage can be done in match three, with the U.S. in close.

Match 4 under way
All four afternoon matches are now up and running, with McIlroy and Fitzpatrick looking to replicate the magic they produced yesterday in the bottom match.

The European pair received an enormous roar as they were announced at the first tee but it was the U.S. fans who had more to celebrate after the tee-shots.

Cantlay and Clark are safely on the green, while Fitzpatrick is in the left rough and McIlroy missed right.
Homa birdies the first
Max Homa was the man with the magic in the foursomes, and rolls in a birdie at the first, which Europe can't match.

For the first time in the 2023 Ryder Cup, the U.S. Team are up in the top two matches.
Match 3 Under Way
Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas mounted a comeback this morning but eventually fell to Rory McIlroy and Tommy Fleetwood.

They are out for the third consecutive session against Justin Rose and Robert MacIntyre, who memorably tied their match with a clutch putt on the 18th hole on Friday afternoon.

Thomas finds the left rough, but Spieth is perfectly positioned down the right side of the fairway. MacIntyre follows Spieth into the fairway. As does Justin Rose.

Putting Contest
The top match already looks like it's going to be a tight contest.

Morikawa puts the first dart into the second hole, and both Åberg and Hovland follow to set up chances all round.

Red on the board
First strike to the U.S. Team

A birdie from Sam Burns and a miss from Hovland means that the U.S. have won the first hole for the first time this week.

They go 1UP to get some red on the board early.
Match 2 under way
The only U.S. winning pairing are back together for the Saturday four-ball matches, while Europe opt to play Tommy Fleetwood with Rookie Nicolai Højgaard.

It's advantage Europe from the tee, as both Homa and Harman find the first cut, while Højgaard and Fleetwood hold the fairway.
