NEW YORK, N.Y. — In anticipation of the 42nd Ryder Cup, the PGA of America today tees off the 2018 Ryder Cup Trophy Tour in New York City with Captain Jim Furyk presenting the Trophy at the Yankees-Mets game at Yankee Stadium. Captain Furyk and the Trophy will then visit other iconic locations around the city, including the Empire State Building and various media appearances.

Palm Beach Gardens, FL – In anticipation of the 42nd Ryder Cup in Paris, the PGA of America unveiled plans today for the 2018 Ryder Cup Trophy Tour across the United States. The Tour is designed to build support and excitement for the United States Ryder Cup Team and the spirit of the Ryder Cup.

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. – PGA Golf Club, the 54-hole, flagship facility of the PGA of America, will proudly display the iconic Ryder Cup trophy inside the main entrance of its clubhouse beginning Friday, Nov. 10.

Ryan Moore, the final captain's pick for Davis Love III who went on to clinch the winning point in the 2016 Ryder Cup at Hazeltine, is now enjoying his week with the coveted trophy. Moore, a UNLV grad who makes his home in Las Vegas, has a PGA Tour home game this week at TPC Summerlin for the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open.

The European stages of The Ryder Cup Trophy Tour ended in Italy last week, completing a journey which has covered over 3,000 miles and involved thousands of golf fans. The Ryder Cup Trophy Tour was officially launched in April by European captain Darren Clarke at his home club of Royal Portrush.

All roads led to Rome for the Ryder Cup, as one of sport’s famous trophies arrived in the Italian capital today as part of The Ryder Cup Trophy Tour. The famous figurine-topped Trophy joined 30 Italian schoolchildren on an open-top bus tour of the city’s leading landmarks today, before being welcomed by Ryder Cup legends Costantino Rocca and Sam Torrance at Marco Simone Golf Club.
