Sept. 23-28, 2025 Bethpage Black Course, Farmingdale, NY

The Friedkin Group today announced a partnership with the 2023 Ryder Cup to become an Official Supporter of the event, to be staged Sept. 29 – Oct. 1 at Marco Simone Golf and Country Club in Rome. Through the partnership, The Friedkin Group will enhance the Ryder Cup fan experience in the Eternal City by offering official tournament merchandise at select AS Roma stores.

The partnership between the Ryder Cup and The Friedkin Group, a diversified consortium of business and investments across multiple industries, creates unique opportunities for fans in Rome to engage with golf’s greatest team contest. AS Roma, which is part of The Friedkin Group family of companies, will offer official Ryder Cup merchandise for sale at the club’s two flagship stores – Piazza Colonna and Via del Corso – during the three weeks leading up to the tournament. These will be the only locations in the city where fans can purchase official Ryder Cup merchandise outside the tournament venue. Earlier this year, the Ryder Cup trophy made a special visit to Stadio Olimpico during the AS Roma vs. AC Milan match, allowing fans to interact with one of golf’s most iconic prizes.

“The Friedkin Group is proud to partner with the 2023 Ryder Cup and support such an important event for the city of Rome,” said Dan Friedkin, Chairman and CEO of The Friedkin Group and Chairman of AS Roma. “Our passion for this city runs deep through our investment in AS Roma and we are excited that Roman fans will get to experience one of golf’s marquee events. The Friedkin Group also shares a commitment with the Ryder Cup to growing the game at the youth level and look forward to working together to advance our shared cause.”

Among The Friedkin Group portfolio is Congaree, a South Carolina golf club whose mission, through the Congaree Foundation, is to positively impact the lives of young people locally in the U.S. and around the globe through the game of golf. With The Friedkin Group’s partnership with the Ryder Cup, Congaree Foundation hopes to expand its reach and identify more youth golfers in Europe who can benefit from its signature program, the Congaree Global Golf Initiative (CGGI). CGGI is a college preparatory program that provides athletic training, academic support, and mentorship to underserved high school students who aspire to play collegiate golf. The program, which is offered at no cost to participants, has helped youth golfers from 30 countries earn millions of dollars in college scholarship funding since its inception.
