Matthew Fitzpatrick, Viktor Hovland, Francesco Molinari and Jon Rahm all finished inside the top ten on the PGA TOUR this week, earning key rankings points for The Ryder Cup in the process.
It was 2018 Ryder Cup star Molinari who made the biggest move of the week, as his tied eighth finish at the Genesis Invitational saw the Italian jump a staggering 23 places up the World Points List to 21st with 41.32 points.
Rounds of 68-73-70-67 saw Molinari, who became the first European player in history to score five points from five matches at The 2018 Ryder Cup, finish at six under par and pick up his third top ten of the season, after a tied eighth finish at The American Express and a tied tenth finish at the Farmers Insurance Open.

European fans will be happy to see one half of the ‘Moliwood’ duo finding their form this year after his exemplary performance at Le Golf National in 2018.
It was another solid week for Norway’s Hovland, after rounds of 71-69-70-67 saw the two-time PGA TOUR winner finish in a tie for fifth, alongside fellow Europeans Fitzpatrick and Rahm.
Since his victory at the Mayakoba Golf Classic, Hovland has finished in a tie for sixth or better in four of his last five starts.
Form that has moved the young star, who is looking to become the first Norwegian to represent Team Europe at The Ryder Cup, into eighth on the World Points List with 111.35 points.Fitzpatrick, like Hovland, also moved up one place on the World Points List to seventh with 117.95 points after an impressive week at The Riviera Country Club.
Rounds of 66-71-69 saw The 2016 Ryder Cup rookie in the final group on Sunday, ultimately finishing in the three-way European tie for fifth after a final round of 71.
Fitzpatrick, like Hovland, also moved up one place on the World Points List to seventh with 117.95 points after an impressive week at The Riviera Country Club.

Rahm rounded off the trio of stars in a tie for fifth after a final round of 66 moved The 2018 Ryder Cup rookie 13 places through the field on Sunday.
This means the current World Number Two extended his lead at the top of the World Points List, sitting on 276.78 points.
Other notable performances included a tied 12th finish for another 2018 Ryder Cup rookie Alex Noren, who climbed 19 places on the World Points List into 41st place.
The Swede, who holed an incredible putt at the last against Bryson DeChambeau to make the final score 17½ - 10½ in Paris, fired rounds of 67-70-71-71 to secure his best finish of 2021 so far.
As it stands Tyrrell Hatton (4,373.64 points), Tommy Fleetwood (4,364.66 points), Rahm (3,747.50 points) and Rory McIlroy (3,429.44 points) sit in the automatic qualification places on the European Points List.
Meanwhile, Victor Perez (136.66 points), Paul Casey (129.40 points), Fitzpatrick (117.95 points) Hovland (111.35 points) and Danny Willett (99.92 points) would qualify via the World Points List.
