RYDER CUP STANDINGS THROUGH THE AT&T BYRON NELSON

Despite a two-hour weather delay that left rivers running down the fairways at TPC Craig Ranch, nothing was going to rain on K.H. Lee’s parade, as the South Korean native picked up his first PGA TOUR victory at the AT&T Byron Nelson.

Following in countryman Sung Kang’s footsteps and becoming the second-consecutive Korean native to win at the event, Lee finished the final round three strokes ahead of the field while logging the lowest 72-hole score in relation to par at the event since 1983 (Source: PGA TOUR Communications).

The 2020-2021 season has been a mixed bag for Lee, who prior to the win had eight missed cuts on the year, paired against a T2 showing at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, his previous high finish on TOUR.

On the U.S. side, Louisiana’s Sam Burns continued his recent streak of excellent play, claiming solo second at 22-under, just two weeks after picking up his inaugural TOUR victory at the Valspar Championship. The finish moves Burns up another eight places in the U.S. Team Ryder Cup standings, from 24^th to 16^th.

Meanwhile, Will Zalatoris made the most of a Sponsor’s Exemption this week, tallying another top-20 finish in support of his bid for full-time PGA TOUR member status. The Texas native, who has been attending the AT&T Byron Nelson as a fan since he was nine years old, moves up one spot to 19^th in the standings.

Daniel Berger was the only movement among the top 10 this week, up one spot to 9^th on the heels of a T3 finish.
