ADMISSION POLICY

There will be no daily re-admission to the grounds of the Ryder Cup. Once the ticket has been scanned, it will no longer provide admission to the Ryder Cup, except when the weather warning signs are posted. Please wear your ticket in plain view at all times as security personnel will not allow admission to the Ryder Cup for individuals without appropriate credentials. The PGA of America and Hazeltine National Golf Club are not responsible for lost or stolen tickets.

ALCOHOL POLICY

All guests at the 41st Ryder Cup are asked to drink responsibly and be respectful of players and other members of the gallery. Spectators appearing under the age of 30 will be asked for identification prior to being allowed to purchase alcoholic beverages on-site at Hazeltine National Golf Club. The following documents are acceptable forms of identification at the Ryder Cup:

• Current, valid United States or Canadian Driver’s License • Current, valid Military ID w/photo

• Current, valid United States or Canadian ID card w/photo • Current, valid Passport

• Current, valid Mexican Consular ID card • Current, valid U.S. Passport Card

ASSUMPTION OF RISK

Spectators assume all risk of personal injury and property loss or damage, and all risk and danger incidental to the game of golf, inclusive but not limited to, the risk of being struck by a misdirected golf shot, and release The PGA of America, PGA Tournament Corporation, Hazeltine National Golf Club, Ryder Cup Europe, participating players, caddies, and respective officers, directors, employees, agents, members, affiliates and their spouses from any and all liability from any such cause.

AUTOGRAPH POLICY

The PGA of America and Ryder Cup Europe respectfully request spectators not ask for autographs throughout Ryder Cup Week.

CAMERA POLICY

Photography as well as audio and video capturing is allowed in all areas during practice rounds (Tuesday – Thursday). During competition rounds (Friday – Sunday), photography, audio and video recording is prohibited anywhere within 100 yards of competition or when requested by players, caddies, marshals, volunteers, security, Ryder Cup staff or officials.

JUNIOR ADMISSION POLICY

As part of The PGA of America’s mission to grow interest and participation in the game of golf, juniors age 17 and younger may attend the Ryder Cup free-of-charge on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of Ryder Cup Week. A maximum of two (2) junior tickets may be obtained per Ryder Cup ticketed adult on these days, at the Main Entrance Admissions office, regardless of a sell-out. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday each junior must have a paid ticket to enter the grounds. Junior tickets do not allow for access into private hospitality areas or the International Pavilion.

LOST CHILDREN

All children who become separated from their parents or guardians will be taken to Volunteer Headquarters located adjacent to the Practice Range. Contact the nearest Ryder Cup volunteer if your child is lost.

MILITARY ADMISSION POLICY

To honor the men and women who serve our country in the United States Armed Forces, The PGA of America is pleased to offer Active Duty, Military Retirees, Active Reserve, National Guard and one accompanying individual complimentary grounds tickets during the practice days, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Military personnel present their military ID in exchange for daily admission at the Main Entrance Admissions office. Complimentary military tickets cannot be obtained in advance or upgraded to an alternate venue.

MOBILE DEVICE POLICY

Mobile devices must be kept in Golf Mode setting at all times at the 41st Ryder Cup:

• Set device to silent or vibrate, including but not limited to, ringer and notifications/alerts.

• Camera flash turned off.

• Incoming and outgoing calls may only be made or received at designated areas denoted as “Phone Zones”.

• Text, email, social posting and other data use is allowed on the golf course at any location providing players are not in position and about to play their shots.

• Photography, as well as audio and video capturing, is allowed in all areas during practice days (Tuesday – Thursday).

• During match days (Friday – Sunday), photography, audio and video recording is prohibited anywhere within 100 yards of competition or when requested by players, caddies, marshals, volunteers, security or Ryder Cup staff and officials.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

The items listed below are strictly prohibited on the grounds of Hazeltine National Golf Club. All bags will be searched prior to entering the Ryder Cup.

• Backpacks of any size

• Bags, including purses and pieces of luggage, larger than 10” x 10” x 10” in their natural state. Prohibited bags will NOT be accepted or stored.

• Sealed packages of any kind

• Personal electronics such as computers, laptops, or tablets

• Drones, hoverboards, laser pointers, or selfie-sticks

• All oversized chairs with wide arm rests (portable folding canvas chairs are permitted). Carry bags will be searched prior to entry.

• Weapons of any kind (regardless of permit), including pocket knives

• Buckets, ladders, milk crates, or stools

• Banners, posters, or signs (country flags without poles are permitted)

• Any materials with unauthorized advertising or promotion

• Coolers

• Bicycles

• Food (except in limited quantities for medical, dietary or infant purposes)

• Alcohol

• Beverages (one unopened sealed bottle of water per spectator is permitted)

• Golf clubs

• Other items deemed inappropriate or dangerous by Ryder Cup security in their sole discretion

Please leave all prohibited items in your vehicle as they will not be permitted or stored at the 41st Ryder Cup.

SMOKING POLICY

Smoking at the 2016 Ryder Cup will be restricted in accordance with applicable law, including the Minnesota Indoor Clean Air Act. Smoking, to include, but not limited to, cigars, pipes, cigarettes and e-cigarettes will be prohibited in any permanent or temporary buildings, inclusive of hospitality areas, on patios/decks or raised platforms, grandstands and bleachers at the 2016 Ryder Cup. Smoking in an approved area will require the spectator to be 20 feet from any structures listed above.

WEATHER WARNING POLICY FOR SPECTATORS

Please observe the scoreboards and video boards for the Weather Warning sign which will appear when inclement weather is moving into the area. When thesigns appear, spectators are advised to take precautions and seek shelter PRIOR to play being suspended. If the sirens sound, seek shelter immediately.

In the event of inclement weather, please remember to avoid the following:

• Grandstands       • Metal fences

• Telephone poles • Golf carts

• Bodies of water  • Tall and/or isolated trees

• Open fields         • Hill tops and high places

SUGGESTIONS FOR SPECTATORS

• Carpool whenever possible.

• Remember where your car is parked.

• Cameras are only allowed on-site for the practice days, Tuesday, September 27 through Thursday, September 29, 2016.

• Drink plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration. Each spectator may bring one bottle of water with an unbroken seal.

• Familiarize yourself with the two Medical Station locations, located near the north end of the Practice Range and between holes 3 and 12.

• Stay behind gallery ropes and cooperate with Ryder Cup marshals.

• Kneel or sit if you are in the front rows.

• Remain still throughout each shot and do not move until all players in the group have played or holed out.

• Walk carefully, never run.

• Display your ticket or credential conspicuously at all times.

• For a grandstand seat, plan to arrive early.

• Bring a rain jacket or poncho and wear comfortable shoes. Late September-early October temperatures in Chaska, Minnesota include high averages in the mid-60 degrees Fahrenheit range, and low averages in the mid-40 degrees range.

• Sunrise is approximately 7:13 a.m. with sunset at approximately 6:54 p.m. Chaska, Minnesota is in the Central Time Zone.

• Designate a place to meet if you get separated from your companions and/or children.

THE TRADITION OF THE RYDER CUP

The Ryder Cup is golf’s most spirited competition, with an unwavering tradition of sportsmanship and respect among the teams, match officials and galleries. Players and spectators alike are expected to conduct themselves in a manner which respects this tradition throughout Ryder Cup Week. Applause and cheering by spectators should show encouragement and support of all players. Booing or heckling is inappropriate. Spectators who breach this conduct by directing profanity or insult toward a player or official at any time, or who act in an inappropriate or unethical manner, will be immediately removed from the grounds. Your support of this tradition and adherence to the conduct outlined herein is appreciated.

TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION

For the safety and security of all spectators, there will be no pedestrian or bicycle access to the 2016 Ryder Cup. This policy will be strictly enforced and there will be no exceptions.

The General Public Parking Lot for the 2016 Ryder Cup is located at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, Minnesota. Parking and the shuttle to the Ryder Cup are free of charge.

Travel time to the Ryder Cup:

Gates & Shuttle Service
Gate times for spectators attending the Ryder Cup at Hazeltine National Golf Club are 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday through Thursday (September 27-29); 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday (Sept. 30-Oct. 1), and 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday (October 2). Shuttle service will begin one-half hour prior to gates open and end one-half hour after gates close.

There is no overnight parking and any vehicles left overnight will be towed at the owner's expense. PGA Tournament Corporation is not responsible for damage to vehicles parked at Canterbury Park or for items lost or stolen from vehicles.

SOUTHWEST TRANSIT BUS SERVICE FOR DROP OFFS

SouthWest Transit will operate a bus service for those being dropped off by hired or personal vehicles. For drop-off locations and schedules, visit www.swtransit.org/ryder-cup. The fee will be $5 round-trip per person per day (cash only). There will be no parking or staging of vehicles at the drop-off locations. However, bicyclists may lock their bikes at drop-off locations each day.

MOBILITY IMPAIRED

Spectators who are mobility impaired should call (877) 472-7275 in advance of the Ryder Cup to reserve a space in the parking lot for mobility impaired spectators who will then be shuttled to the Ryder Cup. There will be no charge for this service which is intended for spectators who are apparatus bound and require a wheelchair, mobility scooter and/or oxygen tank.

Wheelchairs and/or mobility scooters will not be available for rent, but spectators may bring wheelchairs or mobility scooters with them to the 2016 Ryder Cup.

Spectators who are mobility impaired but do not require an apparatus may park in designated spaces in the General Public Parking Lot at Canterbury Park. These spaces are first come, first served and are free of charge. Spectators must display their mobility impaired hang tag on their vehicle’s rear view mirror or use a vehicle with a mobility impaired designation on the license plate.

Mercedes-Benz strives to provide its owners The Best or Nothing – and this belief doesn’t stop with its vehicles. For Mercedes-Benz owners who want premium parking at the Ryder Cup, please visit one of the local Minneapolis area dealerships - Feldmann Imports, Mercedes-Benz of Maplewood and Sears Imported Autos - to receive a pass for the Mercedes-Benz Loyalty Lot, located just outside the Main Entrance Gate at Hazeltine. Please note, access and passes to the Loyalty Lot will be limited on a first-come, first-served basis and available at dealers beginning Monday August 15.

ATMS

ATMs will be located on-site at a number of locations around the grounds including The Ryder Cup Shops, Main Entrance Food Court, International Pavilion and Chase Sapphire Club.

COMPLIMENTARY WIFI

Complimentary WIFI will be available at a number of locations around the grounds including The Ryder Cup Shops, International Pavilion, Clubhouse, Practice Range, Putting Green, and other popular viewing locations. Keep an eye out for WIFI zone signs and make sure to download the 2016 Ryder Cup app!

CONCESSION AND BEVERAGE STANDS

Concession and beverage stands will be located throughout the grounds of Hazeltine National Golf Club. Please reference the on-site course map and pairings guide for all concession and beverage stand locations. VISA, Mastercard, American Express, traveler’s checks and U.S. currency are accepted at all stands, oasis locations under grandstands, and mobile carts.

LOST AND FOUND

Lost and Found will be located at the Information station at the south end of the Practice Range.

MOBILE DEVICE CHARGING

Portable phone charging is available at the Information stations located by the Main Entrance, Hole 10 concession and Hazeltine Clubhouse. Spectator may rent a daily unit for $10 or purchase a charging unit for $35 Cash, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Samsung Pay are accepted.

OFFICIAL RYDER CUP PROGRAMS

The official 41st Ryder Cup Program contains a description of each hole, in addition to various stories regarding the game of golf, the history of the Ryder Cup and much more. Programs may be purchased for $10 at The Ryder Cup Shops and Merchandise Express Tent.

RYDER CUP APP

A special event app has been developed for the 41st Ryder Cup on both Android and iOS platforms. The official FREE app of the 41st Ryder Cup is available for download now, and during the event week will offer live video and scoring, match status, player profiles, tee times, course information, latest news updates, and maps to parking and shuttles. Once on-course at the 41st Ryder Cup, the app will unlock features for attendees offering an amenities finder, walking navigation, custom alerts and more!

RYDER CUP RADIOS

Specially programmed radios will be available for purchase at the Ryder Cup. These radios will broadcast the audio portion of the televised feed featured on the video boards. Additionally, live play-by-play radio commentary will be broadcast throughout the competition (Friday through Sunday) on separate channels. The Ryder Cup radios may be purchased for $15 at The Ryder Cup Shops, Merchandise Express Tent and near the Main Entrance.

VIDEO BOARDS

To enhance the spectator experience, video boards will be located at multiple locations at the Ryder Cup. Each will display live coverage of the 41st Ryder Cup. Video board audio may only be heard by using a Ryder Cup radio. Please refer to the on-site course map and pairings guide for all video board locations.

WILL CALL

There will be no Will Call service at the 41st Ryder Cup. Please arrange to distribute tickets and related items prior to arriving at Hazeltine National Golf Club, as they will not be stored for collection by other individuals on-site. The Admissions office, located at the Main Entrance Gate, will distribute complimentary junior and military daily grounds admission tickets, Tuesday, September 27-Thursday, September 29, 2016.
