We are now less than four weeks away from the first shot of The 42nd Ryder Cup being hit. Grandstands are being built, fairways are being groomed and the teams are beginning to take shape. On Sunday night, eight of Team Europe will be confirmed via the European and World Points Lists. Following that, Thomas Bjørn will announce his four wildcard picks today.
The Captain will name the last four members of the team live at the Sky Sports studios at 2pm BST on Wednesday, with the announcement being broadcast live on RyderCup.com, Ryder Cup YouTube as well Team Europe’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
Speculation over who Bjørn will pick has been growing in recent weeks with the likes of Ian Poulter, Sergio Garcia, Henrik Stenson, Paul Casey and Rafa Cabrera Bello failing to automatically qualify for the team.
