ABOUT US

PGA.com is the official online site for the PGA of America and the ultimate destination for all who love to watch, learn and play golf. Providing a complete look at the world of golf, everything from equipment to courses, top instruction to top travel tips, PGA.com uses the expertise of the 28,000 members of the PGA of America to help you enjoy the game all the more. PGA.com allows you to not only read about golf but engage in the information. We actively seek your input in reviewing, commenting and suggesting areas of golf that benefit the entire golf community, whether it is news from the Tours, a quick tip for your weekend round, an in-depth analysis of your swing.

PGA.com is also the home to some of the most important events in golf including the PGA Championship, the Senior PGA Championship, the PGA Grand Slam of Golf and the Ryder Cup. Our award-winning and record-breaking coverage of these events has set the standard for the digital golf experience. Our Emmy-nominated PGA Championship Live is often cited as the most comprehensive golf championship experience available with new features and more coverage available every year. Our 2010 Ryder Cup coverage was voted as “People’s Choice for Best Use of Interactive Video” at the prestigious WEBBY Awards. Turner Sports Interactive, a Time Warner Company, entered into a partnership with The PGA of America to operate PGA.com in 2003. The partnership was extended in 2010 to run through 2019.

Ryder Cup Europe, which comprises representatives of the European Tour Group (60%), of the PGA of Great Britain and Ireland (20%) and the Confederation of Professional Golf (20%), owns the rights of the Ryder Cup when the competition is held in Europe. The European Tour Group is the Managing Partner and has prime responsibility for all matters concerning The European Team; the PGA of Great Britain and Ireland is the Founding Partner; and the Confederation of Professional Golf is responsible for the management of The Ryder Cup European Development Trust Trust.
