Match three switches again
Europe won the ninth to get back to a Tie but that beacon for the U.S. in match three shines again.

Harman makes an eight-footer for birdie and he and Homa go back 1 UP.
Hovland and Åberg win 9&7 (nine and seven!)
That is a record victory in an 18-hole Ryder Cup match - that is history.

As was the story of the day - Koepka and Scheffler made an almighty mess of the 11th - the European pair did not even have to putt before the concession.

The U.S pair were seven over on their own ball but take nothing away from the Scandinavian duo- a remarkable performance.
Europe 3 UP in bottom match
Hatton may have been dismayed at one putt earlier but he's loving them now.

He makes an eight foot birdie putt on the eighth and Europe are 3 UP.
Dormie 8 (eight!)
Åberg holes from 11 feet for a birdie on the tenth and Europe are 8 UP with eight to play.

The U.S. need a fightback just to get the dog licence in that match and are staring down a record foursomes defeat.
Europe hit back
And they do it with the first eagle on 11 all week.

Much has been made of the three driveable par-threes this week and a brilliant McIlroy drive leaves Fleetwood ten feet - back to 3 UP.
Top Match back to 2UP
With Rory McIlroy unable to chip-in, a great two putt from Spieth and Thomas secures a win on that hole, and they go back to 2UP through ten.
Door ajar
The first real big mistake from Tommy Fleetwood, who struggles to advance his greenside bunker shot and ends up in the rough.

Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth, meanwhile, are on the green around 20 feet away.
7 UP through nine
It's a dream Ryder Cup debut for Ludvig Åberg.

The Rookie sees in a short-range putt for birdie at the ninth to put Luke Donald's Scandinavian dream team 7 UP at the turn against World Number One Scottie Scheffler and US PGA Champion Brooks Koepka.
