It's over in Match 4. Schauffele lips out and Europe takes the match 2&1. A real back-and-forth between this heavyweight pair but it goes the way of the hosts.

After the third session at Whistling Straits it was 9-3. After three sessions at Marco Simone, it's a bigger margin in favour of Europe.

A ridiculous tee shot from Rahm sticks it to within a foot. It rolls right past the hole, so close to a hole in one.

...and Cantlay responds with a fantastic tee shot for the Americans. Schauffele will need to hole the putt to keep the match alive.

Europe go 1 UP with two to play. A big-time putt from Hatton piles the pressure on Xander, who can't respond.

The U.S. had all the momentum, winning three of the previous four holes prior to 16 but Schauffele and Cantlay have work to do now to salvage something for the visitors.

A massive missed opportunity for Hatton and Rahm, who fail to take advantage of some wayward shots from the U.S. Team.

Cantlay makes them pay with a pressure putt from 12 feet to halve the hole. Three to play in Match 4.
