Q: How do I secure tickets for the 2025 Ryder Cup?

The Ryder Cup is one of the few sporting events in the world where tickets are sold through a Random Selection process, meaning the demand for tickets far outweighs the supply available.

Golf enthusiasts from around the globe can register at RyderCup.com until 11:59 p.m. ET on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, for the opportunity to purchase tickets through the PGA of America’s Random Selection process. Once the process is complete, all applicants will be notified via email whether or not they have been randomly selected for the opportunity to purchase tickets.

Official Travel Packages are on sale now with select event-long premium ticket packages being available in late September.

Q: What is the Random Selection ticket registration process?

The Random Selection process for 2025 Ryder Cup tickets is a registration, collection, and grouping program for those having interest in purchasing event admission tickets to the 45th Ryder Cup, held September 23-28, 2025, in Farmingdale, NY, USA, at Bethpage Black Course.

If selected by a randomized process, registrants may have a potential opportunity to purchase available ticket inventory on a first-come, first-served basis within a designated window of time in November 2024 upon completion of the registration process in accordance with the rules and requirements.

Only those who complete the registration form will be eligible for the Random Selection process and the potential opportunity to purchase the allocated tickets.

Q: What are the entry guidelines for the Random Selection ticket registration process?
  • Registrations are limited to one submission per person
  • Individuals must be 18 years of age or older
  • Registrants must use a permanent residential address only - no temporary addresses, second home addresses, business addresses, or P.O. boxes.

Duplicate registrations or registrations determined to have false or misleading information will be removed from the Random Selection process.

Q: How do I know that I’ve successfully registered for the Random Selection ticket registration process?

After completing the registration form, you will be redirected to a confirmation page. All registrants will additionally receive an automated email to the provided email address. If you are having difficulty locating the confirmation email, please check your email inbox and spam folders for any communications from an info@thepga.com email address.

Q: What types of tickets will be available for purchase?

The Random Selection ticket sale will include daily Ryder Cup+ tickets for Tuesday, September 23, through Sunday, September 28, 2025. All available tickets for purchase will be sold as single, daily tickets.

Daily Ryder Cup+ tickets include:

  • Access to the grounds of Bethpage Black Golf Course for the specific day(s).
  • Access to the Ryder Cup+ Inclusive Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverage Program for the specific day(s).
  • Access to public grandstand seating, The Ryder Cup Shops, and other spectator amenities.

Q. If selected, will there be limits to the number of tickets I can purchase?

Yes. Selected registrants will be able to purchase a maximum of four daily Ryder Cup+ tickets for the event, e.g. a purchase of two Tuesday and two Wednesday tickets. Available inventory may vary depending on an assigned group and purchase window.

Alternate premium ticket types that may be available for immediate purchase or via the Citi presale will have their own unique quantity limits.

Q: Do I need to provide my payment information during the Random Selection ticket registration process?

No payment information is required to complete a registration for the 2025 Ryder Cup Random Selection ticket registration process.

Q. When will I be notified if I’ve been selected?

Once the Random Selection Process is complete, all applicants will be notified via email of whether or not they have been randomly selected for the opportunity to purchase tickets in late October / early November:

  • Eligible Citi cardmembers will be notified of their status for the Citi presale on Monday, October 28, 2024.
  • All eligible Random Selection registrants will be notified of their status on Monday, November 4, 2024.

Those selected for either the Citi cardmember presale and/or Random Selection ticket sale will be assigned a designated window of time to purchase available ticket inventory on a first-come, first-served basis.

Q. If selected, when will I be able to purchase tickets?

Tickets will go on sale to those who are selected once the Random Selection process is complete in November 2024. Make sure you add info@thepga.com to your address book to ensure you don’t miss any important future updates.

Q. If selected, will I have the option to purchase the tickets I want?

Through the Random Selection process, successful registrants will be assigned to one of five groups with a designated time window to purchase available ticket inventory on a first-come, first-served basis.

Available inventory may vary depending on your assigned group and purchase window. It is possible that even if you are selected, you may not have the opportunity to purchase the tickets and types you want due to available inventory levels during your purchase window.

Q: What is the Citi Presale component of the Random Selection ticket registration process?

As Worldwide Partner of the 2025 Ryder Cup, Citi is offering cardmembers the opportunity to enter into an exclusive presale window.

Citi cardmembers can enter the first 6 digits of their Citi® credit card or Citibank® Debit Card in the Random Selection ticket registration form to register for both ticket purchase opportunities.

If selected by randomized process, eligible Citi cardmembers will receive an email from the 2025 Ryder Cup on Monday, October 28, with additional information on how to purchase tickets on Tuesday, October 29.

Q: Why do I see tickets for sale elsewhere?

Due to the high demand for 2025 Ryder Cup tickets, unauthorized third-party sellers and websites will feature ticket listings, both before the Random Selection ticket sale occurs and in the months leading up to the event. The PGA of America and 2025 Ryder Cup encourages fans to proceed with caution when purchasing tickets from sources other than SeatGeek or On Location and its distribution partners: Golf Holidays Direct Limited, Golfbreaks Limited and Premier Golf / Your Golf Travel.

Please be aware, if your ticket was purchased from a secondary market website other than SeatGeek, we are unable to assist or verify the authenticity of those tickets. Purchasing from unauthorized third-party sellers is discouraged, as any duplicate or fraudulent tickets will be denied from admission to the 2025 Ryder Cup.

Q: Is there going to be a separate charge for parking?

Yes. General Public Parking for the 2025 Ryder Cup will be available at Jones Beach State Park at 1 Ocean Pkwy, Wantagh, NY 11793, and will be available for purchase beginning in November. Shuttle service will be provided to and from General Public Parking to the Ryder Cup Main Entrance at Bethpage Black.

Details around alternate transportation options, such as the Long Island Rail Road and Rideshare, will be published in November 2024 on RyderCup.com.

Q: I purchased the Ultimate Foursome package for the 2019 PGA Championship. What should I do?

Ultimate Foursome purchasers will receive an email with details on the next steps on September 16, 2024. If you do not receive an email, please email tickets@rydercup.com.

Q. What is the 2025 Ryder Cup re-entry policy?

There will be no daily re-entry to the grounds. If you leave the grounds, you must have an unscanned ticket to return to the 2025 Ryder Cup. Once your ticket has been scanned, it will no longer provide admission. The only exception is when the Weather Warning signs have been posted.

Q. What is the 2025 Ryder Cup junior admission policy?

As part of the PGA of America’s mission to grow interest and participation in golf, juniors aged 15 and under are admitted free to the Ryder Cup grounds on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday when accompanied by a ticketed adult. Here are the key details:

  • Each ticketed adult may bring up to two juniors per day at no additional cost.
  • Junior admission tickets are available on-site at the Ticket Office located at the Main Spectator Entrance on the day of attendance.
  • Junior tickets cannot be obtained in advance and are available even if the Ryder Cup is sold out.
  • No registration is required.
  • Junior tickets do not grant access to private hospitality areas or clubs (including the International Pavilion).

On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, all juniors must have a paid ticket to enter the grounds, as complimentary admission is not available.

Children under the age of 2 do not require a ticket to enter the Ryder Cup.

Q. What is the 2025 Ryder Cup military admission policy?

In honor of the men and women serving in the Armed Forces, the Ryder Cup offers complimentary daily grounds access to verified military personnel and one accompanying guest on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of Ryder Cup Week.

Active Duty, Retirees (career-retired with twenty years of qualifying military service and Dept. of Defense ID), Reserve, National Guard can visit rydercup.com in November 2024 for a link to the online verification and request process.

Verification and Ticketing Process:

  • Visit this page or GOVX in November 2024 to apply for 2025 Ryder Cup tickets.
  • Through this process, you must provide a copy of your Military ID or service verification in the GOVX platform.
  • Upon verification, you will be directed to SeatGeek to reserve attendance for each day you plan to attend.
  • Military tickets are digital and will appear in your SeatGeek account on the morning of the event.
  • Both the military member and guest must arrive together, with tickets on the same mobile device.

Additional Information:

  • Military tickets cannot be upgraded to alternative venues but are eligible for the junior admission policy on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
  • Military tickets do not grant access to private hospitality areas, clubs (including the International Pavilion).
  • Complimentary military tickets are subject to availability based on event capacity.
Q. What is the 2025 Ryder Cup ticket refund policy?

Unless otherwise determined by PGA Tournament Corporation or The PGA of America, in their sole discretion, there shall be no refunds, rainchecks, exchanges, or replacements of tickets except as provided for in the following Event Cancellation / Weather Policy outlined in the full championship ticket terms and conditions available during the ticket sales process.
